EUROPEAN FINANCING

This is the financial instrument of the reformed Common Fisheries policy and it aims to contribute to the development of the European "blue economy". Consequently, it will contribute to the sustainable development and the competitiveness of the fishing sector and the aquaculture, the balanced development of territories and the inclusion; it supports local and artisanal fishing and also helps young fishermen by boosting innovation and economic diversification and by funding projects that may create more jobs.
