- Support programmes to SMEs – INFO (co-financed by ERDF): Las empresas de la Región dispondrán de 9 millones en ayudas del Info en las próximas semanas y ya se tramitan 8 millones adicionales:
- COVID-19 Technology Investment Support Programme: EUR 1.5 million
- Covid-19 Line Zero Cost: EUR 1.5 million, to support guarantees
- Other support lines (EUR 200,000 and EUR 500.000), for technological innovation in companies, cybersecurity, telework, e-commerce and product development, contracting professional internationalization services.
- May: Aid program for Digital Transformation Companies (Industry 4.0) with EUR 2.5 million, and Aid program to Innovative Technology Based Companies (EIBTs), with EUR 2 million.
- In study (EUR 8 million): other programs such as an investment line for tourist accommodation, the deferment of interest payments, loan repayment programs (Emprende, Invierta, Expansion Lines), Financial Instruments for co-investment for entrepreneurs.
- Solidarity network of companies. Under the coordination of the Regional Development Agency, a solidarity network of companies has been promoted. These companies are providing products and services altruistically wherever needed. This collaborative and altruistic network is already close to be composed of a hundred of companies. Among them, the furniture, upholstery and contract sectors stand out, which have totally reconverted their production to focus on the production of masks and other healthcare material. STRATEGIC PLAN FOR THE RECOVERY OF INDUSTRIAL ACTIVITY TO ALLEVIATE THE EFFECTS OF COVID-19 IN THE REGION OF MURCIA
The Government of the Region of Murcia has launched the Strategic Plan for the Recovery of Industrial Activity (PERAI_20) to alleviate the effects of the coronavirus health crisis on the regional industry. The plan has the objective of promoting the reactivation of the industrial sector based on different recovery strategies.
Among the objectives of the plan are the reduction of uncertainty in the industrial sector, the establishment of strategies for the recovery and the coordination and cooperation between the Regional Government and the companies, all this to promote the measures which are needed so that the recovery arrives as soon as possible to the Region. PERAI_20 will be developed in three stages, the first one is about strategic analysis “in which we will try to anticipate the future situation when this state of alarm ends”, explained the Regional Minister. The second phase, within the framework of the Regional Advisory Council of Industry, will establish the recovery measures to advance the recovery of industrial activity in the Region.
