The Region of Murcia has been reinforcing its position in this consultative body by increasing its working participation both in the commissions of which it is a member, as well as in the plenary sessions. 

During this current mandate the Region of Murcia is part of NAT (Commission for Natural Resources) and ECON (Commission for Economic Policy). The Member for the Region of Murcia is the President of the Autonomous Community of Murcia, Fernando López Miras, and the alternate member is the Director General for European Union Affairs, Adrián Zittelli Ferrari.)
