Thirty students and teachers from schools in the Region of Murcia are visiting European institutions in Brussels as part of the European Parliament Ambassador School programme.

The Directorate General for European Union Affairs, through Europe Direct Region of Murcia, collaborated in organizing a study visit to Brussels—held from September 28 to 30—for students and teachers from schools in the region that have been designated as European Parliament Ambassador Schools, an educational initiative promoted by the European institution itself.

Awards ceremony for the 24th My Town, Europe drawing competition

More than 2,500 students from 25 schools in the Region of Murcia participated in the "My Town, Europe" drawing contest, which aims to bring the European Union closer to young people. Sixteen drawings were awarded prizes in different categories, and the winning works illustrate a 2026 calendar.
