Abril 2026. Eco-Guardians
ECOGUARDIANS is an Erasmus+ project that promotes environmental awareness among young Europeans through educational activities, international exchanges, and local sustainability initiatives. Its goal is to train a new generation of “environmental guardians,” capable of understanding current ecological challenges and acting responsibly in their communities.
The project brings together educational institutions and organizations from several European countries to work together on topics such as the circular economy, biodiversity, waste management, and combating climate change.
Main objectives:
To foster sustainable habits among students and their families.
To develop ecological and digital skills through active learning methodologies.
To create collaborative networks among European educational institutions.
To promote local initiatives with a real impact on the environment.
To raise awareness of the importance of environmental protection from an early age.

Key Activities
1. Eco-Workshops in Schools
Workshops on creative recycling, ecological footprint analysis, renewable energy, and responsible consumption.
2. International Exchanges
Student and teacher exchanges to share experiences, visit protected natural areas, and participate in collaborative projects.
3. Awareness Campaigns
Creation of videos, podcasts, posters, and digital content to raise awareness within the educational community and the local environment.
4. Local Impact Actions
Cleaning beaches, rivers, or green spaces
Planting trees
Installing recycling points
School energy audits
5. ECOGUARDIANS Challenge
An annual challenge in which teams from each country present innovative solutions to improve the sustainability of their school or municipality.
Expected Results
Greater student involvement in environmental protection.
Open and reusable educational materials for other schools.
Creation of a European network of “ECOGUARDIANS”.
Ongoing local projects that will continue after the Erasmus+ program ends.
Raised public awareness of the importance of climate action.
