The event was opened by the Director General of European Union Affairs, Mr. Adrián Ariel Zittelli Ferrari, and the Director General of Human Resources, Educational Planning, and Innovation, Ms. María del Carmen Balsas Ramón, who emphasized the importance of fostering critical thinking and communication skills among young people.

The participants, organized into teams, faced three rounds of debate in which they analyzed and argued current affairs topics.
