1. When will the internship begin?
The exact start date will depend on the processing of the application. A specific date cannot be guaranteed at this time, although the internship is expected to begin in early November.
2. When will the provisional list of accepted and rejected applicants be published?
The provisional list of accepted and rejected applicants is expected to be published around the second week of September.
3. Is it mandatory to provide proof of proficiency in the two languages required in the application?
Yes. It is necessary to provide proof of proficiency in both required languages or, failing that, documentation demonstrating that the fee has been paid and that you are in a position to obtain the corresponding certificate. Proof of proficiency must conform to the certificates officially recognized by the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia.
4. Can I apply for the grant if I do not currently reside in the Region of Murcia?
Yes. Being a native of the Region of Murcia is sufficient to meet this requirement, even if you reside temporarily outside the Autonomous Community.
5. What internships can be considered as merits?
Non-curricular internships related to European affairs will be considered. The certificate must indicate the duration and tasks performed so that the selection committee can assess their relevance to the subject matter of the grant.
6. Can internships that have not yet ended be considered?
Yes. Ongoing internships can also be considered, provided a certificate from the corresponding organization is submitted. In these cases, the period completed up to the application deadline will be counted.
7. What courses can be considered?
Specific training courses on European Union matters that are at least 25 hours in duration will be considered. The corresponding diploma, certificate, or degree must be provided.
8. What university degrees are considered related to the European Union?
Qualifications listed in the call for applications will be considered, as well as any additional qualifications that meet the requirements specified therein.
9. Which master's degrees are considered specific master's degrees in European Union studies?
Programs that only include some subjects related to the European Union will not be considered specific master's degrees. Furthermore, only official university master's degrees in accordance with current regulations will be considered. Unofficial master's degrees may be considered, where applicable, as training courses.
10. Are European mobility programs considered?
Yes. Participation in Erasmus mobility programs and European Voluntary Service initiatives such as the European Solidarity Corps will be considered.
11. Who decides the final evaluation of merits?
The evaluation is the responsibility of the Selection Committee, which may analyze the submitted documentation and, when necessary, consult other administrative units to determine its correct evaluation.
